Scope
This standard specifies the type, performance, technical requirements, test and inspection rules of the pedal-operated 500kV four-split conductor flywheel. This standard applies to 500kV four-split conductors (including AC and DC 500kV lines) for conductor flying machines (hereinafter referred to as flying cars) for live operations, maintenance and installation. It does not apply to motorized and other types of flying cars.
