Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and identification, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules and marking, packaging, transportation and storage requirements of nylon 6 monofilament. This standard is applicable to nylon 6 monofilaments with a linear density of 5.50 dtex ~ 230 000.00 dtex, a corresponding monofilament equivalent diameter of 0.024 mm ~ 5.036 mm, circular cross-section, special-shaped cross-section, glossy, semi-matt, and full matt.
