本标准规定了PN(公称压力)的定义和系列。本标准适用于使用PN标识的相关标准中规定的管道件。

1 Scope

This standard specifies the definition and series of PN (nominal pressure).
This standard is applicable to pipe components marked with PN and specified in the relevant standard.

2 Definitions

PN: It is relevant to the mechanical property and size characteristics of components of the pipe system and is the sign of the combination of letters and figures. It consists of letter PN and dimensionless figures.
Note 1: Figures after the letter PN do not stand for measured values, shall not be applied to calculation, unless otherwise stated in the relevant standards.
Note 2: Unless related with relevant standards of pipe components, the term PN has no meaning:
Note 3: Allowable pressure of pipework components depends on the PN value, materials, design and allowable working temperature of components, allowable pressure is given in the corresponding table of standard pressure temperature level.
Note 4: All the pipe components with the same PN and DN values shall have the same matching size with the matchable flange.
