Introduction

GB/T 10510—2023 Standard Overview

GB/T 10510—2023 is the latest national standard for "Nitrophosphate Fertilizers and Nitrophosphate Potassium Fertilizers", which replaces the 2007 version. The new standard has made important revisions in technical requirements, testing methods and labeling management, especially in product classification, nitrate nitrogen indicators and limits of toxic and hazardous substances.

Implementation suggestions

1. Quality control: Manufacturers should establish a sound quality management system and strictly follow the new standards for raw material screening, production process monitoring and finished product inspection. It is recommended to introduce an online monitoring system to ensure that key indicators such as nitrate nitrogen and available phosphorus meet the requirements.

2. Selection of testing methods: For the newly added nitrate nitrogen and toxic and hazardous substances testing, it is recommended to give priority to the arbitration method (such as GB/T 3597) to ensure the authority of the results. At the same time, enterprises can choose rapid testers to improve efficiency based on actual conditions.

3. Label management: Manufacturers must strictly follow the standard requirements to label product names, formulas, chloride ion content and other information. Especially for chlorine-containing products, "low chlorine" or "medium chlorine" should be clearly labeled to avoid misleading consumers.

4. User training: For dealers and farmers, it is recommended to carry out new standard publicity and technical training to help them understand the changes in standards and use fertilizers correctly. For example, pilot promotion in agricultural demonstration areas, collect feedback and optimize promotion strategies.
