Scope

This standard specifies the test principle, equipment, samples, test procedures, calculation and evaluation methods for the smoke generation performance of solid materials under the conditions of flameless mode or flame mode. This standard applies to the determination of the specific optical density of solid materials or components that produce smoke under flameless or flame mode conditions.
