Scope
This standard specifies the procedure for determining the H-point position of a car seat using a three-dimensional H-point device. This standard is applicable to the design and inspection of any vehicle whose vertical distance between the driver's heel point and the R point is less than 550mm, and the recline angle of the backrest is greater than 5°, or the angle between the center line of the thigh indicated by the thigh bar and the horizontal line is greater than 5°.
