Scope
1. For the following data transmission services, the optional user facilities for various user service categories specified in ITU-T X.1 should be standardized, including: a) circuit switching data transmission services; b) packet switching data transmission services ; c) leased circuit data transmission services; d) frame relay data transmission services. 2. Optional user facilities that become available internationally as listed in the following clauses. Certain optional subscriber facilities can be used on a per call basis, while others can be stipulated for an agreed contract period. In each case, the user has a given optional user facility option. 3. When obtaining packet-switched data transmission services through the public switched telephone network (PSTN), circuit-switched public data network (CSPDN) or integrated services digital network (ISDN), when obtaining frame relay data transmission services through the public data network (PDN) When doing business, the DTE business and related identification methods adopted should also be standardized and stipulated in the following chapters.
