Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, instructions for use, packaging, transportation and storage of marine AC low-voltage switchboards. This standard applies to the design, production and acceptance of main switchboards, emergency switchboards, area switchboards and distribution switchboards (hereinafter referred to as switchboards) for marine three-phase AC 50Hz or 60Hz and below 1000V.
