Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, types and basic parameters, requirements, inspection conditions, inspection methods, signs and packaging of depth micrometers (excluding electronic digital display depth micrometers). This standard applies to scale readings and digital reading depth micrometers with division values of 0.01 mm, 0.005 mm, 0.001 mm, micrometer measuring ranges of 25 mm and 50 mm, and measuring ranges up to 300 mm (excluding electronic digital display depth micrometers) ).
