Scope
This standard specifies the classification, requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of pipeline loose sleeve compensation joints (hereinafter referred to as "compensation joints"). This standard is applicable to the design, manufacture and acceptance of compensation joints for pipelines that transport seawater, fresh water, hot and cold water, drinking water, domestic sewage, crude oil, fuel oil, lubricating oil, finished oil, air, gas, steam with a temperature not higher than 170°C and granular powder and other media.
