Scope

This part of GB/T 16896 specifies the Impulse voltage and impulse current test waveforms and standard values. This section applies to the software for calculating the impulse voltage and impulse current parameters recorded in the impulse test. This section does not apply to hardware with built-in firmware that cannot accept external input data. This part includes: - Determine the necessary tests to show that the performance of the software meets the requirements of the relevant national standards; - Define terms related to digital processing; - Specify the standard value and acceptable limit of the standard shock wave; - Specify Requirements for performance records; -- specify methods for evaluating software components of measurement uncertainty.
