Introduction
Core changes in the standard revision
| Revision dimensions | 2009 version | 2021 version | Technical significance |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cane tip requirements | Not separately specified | Add wheel rotation performance | Improve the road perception and feedback ability of the cane |
| Looseness standard | Not quantified | ≤5mm | Precisely control the stability of the folding mechanism |
| Test sequence | Chapter 7 | Chapter 6 reorganization | Optimize the logic of the detection process |
Analysis of key performance indicators
5.2.3 Technical requirements for cane tip
The standard requires that the cane tip be made of wear-resistant insulating material and produce obvious knocking sound feedback on hard roads. New requirements for wheel rotation: Rotation smoothness ≤ 0.5N·m torque, and abnormal sound detection must be carried out under a 30dB background noise environment.
5.6 Mechanical strength test
| Test type | Loading conditions | Qualification standard | Figure number |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bending strength | 30N static load 5s | Displacement ≤25mm | Figure 5 |
| Static load strength | 300N hold 10min | No structural damage | Figure 6 |
Key points for detection implementation
6.2 Looseness performance test case
A certain testing agency conducted a test on aluminum alloy folding blind stick shows that when a load of 1.2 times its own weight is applied, the displacement at the center of mass is 3.8mm (the standard requirement is ≤5mm). It should be noted that the clamping force of the bracket should be controlled within the range of 5-10N to avoid test errors.
Standard application recommendations
- Material selection: TPE+silicone composite material is recommended for the handle, and the Shore hardness is recommended to be 75A-85A
- Process control: The hinge of the folding mechanism needs to be opened and closed 20,000 times
- Testing equipment: The accuracy of the static load test machine should reach ±1%, and the displacement measurement resolution should be 0.01mm
