Scope
This standard specifies the terms and definitions, technical requirements, testing, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of semiconductor inverter cascade speed control devices. This standard applies to cascade speed control devices (hereinafter referred to as devices) that use semiconductor power converters to adjust the speed of AC wound rotor induction motors, internally fed mixed-pole brushless AC motors and mixed-pole brushless double-fed AC motors.
