《GB/T 12940-2008银石墨电触头技术条件》由TC228（全国电工合金标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为中国电器工业协会。
本标准规定了含石墨3%、4%、5%、10%的银石墨电触头的要求、试验方法、检验规则以及标志、包装与贮存。 本标准适用于烧结?挤压或烧结?复压工艺制造的银石墨电触头。

Scope

This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging and storage of silver-graphite electrical contacts containing 3%, 4%, 5%, and 10% graphite. This standard applies to silver graphite electrical contacts (hereinafter referred to as electrical contacts) manufactured by sintering-extrusion or sintering-recompression process. This series of products are mainly used as closing and breaking contacts and sliding contacts of low-voltage switchgear.
