Scope

This standard specifies the principle of determination of lithium, sodium, potassium and cesium in uranium dioxide powder and pellets, the instruments and reagents used, sample preparation, analysis steps and calculation of analysis results. This standard applies to the determination of trace amounts of lithium, sodium, potassium and cesium in uranium dioxide powder and pellets. When the sampling volume is 0.5000g, the determination range is 2~20μg/gUO2.
