Scope

This standard specifies the protection and monitoring items and technical requirements for the safety monitoring devices of stationary steam turbines for power generation (hereinafter referred to as steam turbines). This standard is applicable to the design, supporting model selection and factory commissioning of steam turbine safety monitoring devices. Other types of steam turbines can also be implemented by reference.
