In-depth interpretation of the national standard for polyethylene heat shrinkable film

1. Overview of the standard

This standard (GB/T13519-2016) replaces the old version GB/T13519-1992 and is applicable to heat shrinkable films for packaging produced with polyethylene resin as the main raw material.

2. Classification and application of standards

Category Scope of application
Horizontal shrink film Used for the outer packaging of pallet stacked items or the outer packaging of shaped items such as cartons.
Longitudinal shrink film Used for outer packaging of single or combined items of fixed shape.
