本标准规定了235U丰度低于5%的商业级浓缩六氟化铀产品技术要求、检验规则、标志、包装、运输和贮存。本标准适用于经铀浓缩厂分离浓缩而成的235U丰度低于5%的商业级浓缩六氟化铀产品。


Scope

This standard specifies the technical requirements, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation and storage of commercial-grade enriched uranium hexafluoride products with 235U abundance less than 5%. This standard is applicable to commercial-grade enriched uranium hexafluoride (hereinafter referred to as low-enriched uranium hexafluoride) products with 235U enrichment less than 5% separated and enriched by uranium enrichment plants. The purpose of this standard is to provide the nuclear industry with a technical specification for low-enriched UF6 used in the production of sinterable UO2 powder for the manufacture of fuel elements. In addition to this standard, other appropriate conditions may be agreed between the parties concerned.
