《GB/T 14253-2008轻工机械通用技术条件》由TC101（全国轻工机械标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为中国轻工业联合会。
本标准代替GB/T 14253-1993《轻工机械通用技术条件》。
本标准规定了轻工机械（压力容器除外）的术语和定义、基本要求、材料、加工和装配质量要求、外观质量要求、试验方法、检验规则及标志、包装、运输 、贮存。
本标准适用于轻工机械产品。
本标准与GB/T 14253-1993相比，主要变化如下：
―――修改了术语和定义；
―――增加了动平衡试验。

Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, basic requirements, materials, processing and assembly quality requirements, appearance quality requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation and storage of light industrial machinery (except pressure vessels). This standard applies to light industrial machinery products (hereinafter referred to as products).
