Introduction
Background of Standard Revision and Technological Evolution
GB/T14286-2021, as the core terminology standard in the field of live working, replaces the 2008 version and achieves three major technical upgrades:
| Revision Dimensions | 2008 Version | 2021 Version |
|---|---|---|
| Term Structure | Mixed Arrangement | 16 System Classifications |
| Technical Content | 286 Terms | 35 New Terms including Insulated Locking Rod |
| International Standards | Partially Equivalent to IEC | Fully Compatible with IEC60743:2013 |
Analysis of Core Tools and Equipment
1. Insulated Rod Tools
The standard divides the operating rod into 13 subcategories, among which the universal wrench rod(3.1.9) adopts an adjustable sleeve design, which improves the torque transmission efficiency by 40%. The load-bearing rod has 4 new structures, including the roller pull rod(3.2.5).
2. Bypass equipment
Chapter 6 specifies 8 types of bypass devices. The plug-in and pull-out life of the quick-plug bypass cable terminal(6.6) is more than 5000 times, and the current carrying capacity meets the 400A continuous current carrying requirement.
Safety protection innovation
Chapter 8 introduces the new concept of personal arc protection equipment(8.1.8), whose ATPV value (arc thermal protection value) must be ≥40cal/cm². Composite insulating gloves (8.2.2) use Kevlar fiber reinforcement layer with a tear strength of 18N/mm.
Implementation suggestions
- Tool procurement should check the terminology codes in the standard (e.g. Insulated boom truck corresponds to 16.1)
- Training materials need to be updated with new terms such as Insulator string distributed electric field detection device(11.2.7)
- Standard terms should be used when filling out work tickets, such as using Wire shielding cover(5.1.2) to replace non-standard expressions such as "insulating sleeve"
