《GB/T 14337-2008化学纤维短纤维拉伸性能试验方法》由TC586（全国化学纤维标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为国家标准化管理委员会。
本标准代替ＧＢ／Ｔ１４３３７―１９９３《合成短纤维断裂强力及断裂伸长试验方法》和ＧＢ／Ｔ９９９７―１９８８《化学纤维单纤维断裂强力及断裂伸长的测定》。本标准规定了化学纤维短纤维的单根纤维拉伸性能的试验。本标准适用于聚酯（涤纶）、聚酰胺（锦纶）、聚丙烯腈（腈纶）、聚丙烯（丙纶）、聚乙烯醇缩甲醛（维纶）、纤维素纤维等化学纤维短纤维拉伸性能的试验。纤维长度应能满足所规定名义隔距长度要求。本标准是对ＧＢ／Ｔ１４３３７―１９９３、ＧＢ／Ｔ９９９７―１９８８进行合并修改。与原标准相比，主要在以下几方面作了修改：
―――将标准名称改为《化学纤维　短纤维拉伸性能试验方法》，适用范围包含了纤维素纤维；
―――修改了原规定的预张力，并增加了预张力的精度要求；
―――增加了附录Ａ“快速调湿时间”；
―――修改了涤纶等调湿和试验用标准大气的相对湿度；
―――增加了湿态定伸长强力的测定方法；
―――依据ＢＩＳＦＡ，修改了定伸长强力的测定和结果计算方法；
―――增加了模量的计算方法；
―――增加了重复性要求和计算结果有效位数的规定；
―――增加了结果置信区间的计算方法；
―――增加了附录Ｂ“预加张力的求取方法”；
―――增加了附录Ｃ“统计术语和计算”；
―――增加了试验报告的内容。

1 Scope

This standard specifies the single fibre tensile property test of man-made staple fibres.

This standard is applicable to the tensile property test of man-made stable fibres made of polyester (dacron), polyamide (Nylon), polyacrylonitrile (acrylon), polypropylene (PP), polyvinyl formal (vinylon) and cellulose fibre. The fibre length shall be able to meet the requirements of specified nominal gauge length.
