1 Scope

This standard specifies the type classification and basic parameters, technical requirements, test methods, inspection rules as well as marking, packaging, transportation and storage of bridge crane for general purpose with the rated capacity 3.2t~320t.
This standard is applicable to bridge crane for general purpose (hereinafter referred to as crane) operating in general environment. Its load-handling device is hook or grab bucket or lifting electromagnet (electromagnetic chuck) or are two or three of them at the same time.
This standard may also be used by reference for bridge crane for general purpose with rated capacity greater than 320t or the same part of other bridge crane.
This standard is not applicable to crane used in the following conditions:
——Environment with flammable and combustible gas, dust or corrosive gas;
——Nuclear environment or environment with toxic gas.
