Scope
This part of GB 15579 applies to clamps for arc welding that are electrically connected to the workpiece without the use of tools. This section does not apply to clamps for underwater welding and plasma cutting. This standard specifies the safety requirements and performance requirements for welding clamps. This standard does not specify requirements for welding cables.
