Background of Standard Formulation and Analysis of Technological Evolution

GB/T 1653—2023 o- and p-Nitrochlorobenzene is the fourth revision of the national standard based on the original standard, mainly considering the technological progress of the industry and changes in market demand. This standard replaces the previous GB/T 1653—2013 version.

The main changes in the new standard include: deleting the control item of crystallization point of dry products, optimizing the product quality index system, and updating the sampling and testing methods. These changes reflect the industry's higher requirements for quality control and safety technology.

  • The control item of crystallization point of dry products and its test method have been deleted, simplifying the quality inspection process.
  • Optimized product quality indicators: improved purity requirements, adjusted the content limits of low-boiling substances, high-boiling substances and organic impurities.
  • Updated sampling and testing methods: adjusted the solvent use and moisture determination methods, and added regulations on the allowable difference of parallel determinations.
