Scope

This standard specifies the basic guidelines for the selection and calibration of dosimetry systems used to measure absorbed dose in gamma-ray, X-ray and electron beam radiation processing. Typical dosimetry systems for calibration and quality assurance of routine radiation processing products, the expression method of absorbed dose and the evaluation of dosimetry uncertainty. Absorbed dose range: ≤300kGy Radiation energy range: 0.1~5MeV (photons) ≤10MeV (electrons) This guideline does not include the specific application of specific dose measurement systems and the dose measurement of neutrons or heavy charged particles.
