Scope

This part of GB/T 16856 gives the implementation guidelines for risk assessment of machinery in accordance with GB/T 16856.1-2008, and describes various methods and tools related to each step in the process. This section also provides implementation guidelines for reducing mechanical risks (meeting GB/T 15706.1-2007), and gives additional guidelines for selecting appropriate protective measures to achieve safety. The intended users of this part of GB/T 16856 are those involved in integrating safety into the design, installation or modification of machinery (for example: designers, technicians, safety experts).
