《GB/T 17436-1998船舶危险区域防爆电气设备的选用》由TC531（全国船舶电气及电子设备标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为国家标准化管理委员会。
本标准规定了海洋船舶各危险区域及其电气设备的特殊技术要求和选用。本标准适用于A、B、C、D类液货船、运载机动车辆的船舶和煤船。内河船舶也可以参照使用。

Scope

This standard stipulates the special technical requirements and selection of hazardous areas of marine vessels and their electrical equipment. This standard applies to tankers of categories A, B, C and D, ships carrying motor vehicles and coal carriers. Inland waterway ships can also be used as a reference.
