Scope

GB/T 17554 stipulates the test method for identification card characteristics in accordance with GB/T 14916. Each test method cross-references one or more basic standards, which may be GB/T 14916 or one or more supplementary standards that define information storage technologies for identification card applications. This part of GB/T 17554 specifies the test method for contactless integrated circuit card technology (proximity card). Part 1 specifies the test methods common to one or more card technologies; other parts specify the test methods for each specific technology. Unless otherwise specified, the tests in this section apply only to proximity cards defined in GB/T 22351.1 and GB/T 22351.2.
