Scope
This standard specifies the requirements, test methods, inspection rules, marking, packaging, transportation, storage and contract content of magnesium alloy sacrificial anodes (hereinafter referred to as magnesium anodes). This standard applies to magnesium anodes for cathodic protection of metal (mainly steel) facilities working in soil, fresh water and sea water.
