《GB/T 1786-2008锻制圆饼超声波检验方法》由TC183（全国钢标准化技术委员会）归口，TC183SC19（全国钢标准化技术委员会钢产品无损检测分会）执行，主管部门为中国钢铁工业协会。
本标准与美国标准AMS-STD-2154-05《变形金属超声波检验程序》的一致性程序为非等效。
本标准代替GB/T 1786-1990《锻制圆饼超声波检验方法》。
本标准规定了用平底孔对比试块，以超声波水浸法或接触法检验锻制圆饼方法的适用范围、检测人员、检验仪器和设备、对比试块、检验条件和步骤、缺陷评定、质量保证规定和检验报告。
本标准适用于截面厚度不小于8mm的转动（如涡轮盘、压器机盘等）锻制高温合金和合金钢圆饼缺陷的超声波检验。其他用途圆饼的超声波检验经供需双方协商可参照使用。
本标准与GB/T 1786-1990相比，主要变化如下：
――增加了允许采用接触法检验；
――取消了转盘转速的规定；
――增加了对工件机加工表面粗糙度的要求；
――增加了B扫描显示方法和C扫描显示方法；
――增加了质量等级的划分；
――增加了质量保证规定。

Scope

This standard specifies the scope of application, testing personnel, testing instruments and equipment, comparative test blocks, testing conditions and procedures, defect evaluation, quality assurance regulations and inspection reports. This standard is applicable to the ultrasonic inspection of forged high-temperature alloy and alloy steel round cake defects with a section thickness of not less than 8mm (such as turbine disks, compressor machine disks, etc.). Ultrasonic inspection of round cakes for other purposes can be used as a reference after negotiation between the supplier and the purchaser.
