Scope
This International Standard specifies a method for estimating the long-term hydrostatic strength of thermoplastic pipes by statistical extrapolation. The method is based on the determination of hydrostatic failure test data on specimens in the form of tubing. This standard applies to various thermoplastic pipe materials at their applicable temperatures.
