《GB/T 18511-2017煤的着火温度测定方法》由TC42(全国煤炭标准化技术委员会)归口,TC42SC1(全国煤炭标准化技术委员会煤炭检测分会)执行,主管部门为中国煤炭工业协会。

Introduction

1. Background and purpose of the standard

GB/T 18511-2017 "Method for determination of ignition temperature of coal" is one of the important standards in the coal industry, used to determine the ignition temperature of coal under certain conditions. This standard replaces the old version GB/T 18511-2001, and mainly updates and improves the reagent requirements, coal sample processing methods and test reports.

2. Comparison of standard frameworks

Chapter Old version GB/T 18511—2001 New version GB/T 18511—2017
Scope Applicable to lignite, bituminous coal and anthracite The scope of application remains consistent
Terms and definitions Relevant terms are not clearly listed A clear definition of "ignition temperature" has been added, and the relevant definition of GB/T 483—2007 has been cited.
Requirements for reagents No mention of benzidine and reducing agents Added the specifications for the use of benzidine and reducing agents, and emphasized the safety precautions during the experiment.

3. Practical application case

A coal enterprise used the new version of the standard to measure the ignition temperature of bituminous coal samples. The experimental steps are as follows:

  1. Weigh 0.5g~1.0g of raw coal sample and place it in a vacuum drying oven for 2 hours.
  2. After grinding, mix it evenly with sodium nitrite and put it into the sample tube.
  3. Connect the measuring device, control the heating rate to 4.5℃/min~5.0℃/min, and record the temperature mutation point.

Through this method, the company successfully measured the ignition temperature of the coal sample and found that the new version of the standard has significantly improved the operating process and data accuracy.

4. Implementation suggestions

  • The experimenters should receive professional training and be familiar with the differences between the old and new standards.
  • The laboratory needs to be equipped with instruments and equipment that meet the requirements of the new standard, especially automatic measuring instruments and vacuum drying ovens.
  • In actual operation, it is recommended to select the appropriate test method based on the characteristics of the coal type, and do a good job of data recording and analysis.
