3. Practical application case
A coal enterprise used the new version of the standard to measure the ignition temperature of bituminous coal samples. The experimental steps are as follows:
- Weigh 0.5g~1.0g of raw coal sample and place it in a vacuum drying oven for 2 hours.
- After grinding, mix it evenly with sodium nitrite and put it into the sample tube.
- Connect the measuring device, control the heating rate to 4.5℃/min~5.0℃/min, and record the temperature mutation point.
Through this method, the company successfully measured the ignition temperature of the coal sample and found that the new version of the standard has significantly improved the operating process and data accuracy.
4. Implementation suggestions
- The experimenters should receive professional training and be familiar with the differences between the old and new standards.
