Interpretation of the core content of the standard
This standard specifies the method for determining the amount of secondary coal slime in the production process of a coal preparation plant, with a focus on the quantitative analysis of coal slime with a particle size of <0.5mm. The technical framework includes three key modules:

Key technical points
1. Determination principle
The secondary coal slime volume is calculated by the difference method: γse<0.5 = γto<0.5 - γpr<0.5. The total coal slime volume γto<0.5 requires the comprehensive screening test (GB/T477) and floating test (GB/T478) data.
2. Instrument requirements
- Standard sieve: 0.5mm square hole sieve, in line with GB/T6003.1 requirements
- Drying oven: temperature control accuracy ±2℃
- Electronic balance: range ≥1kg, accuracy 0.001kg
Implementation Notes
Typical Error Control
The application case of a coal preparation plant shows that when the moisture content of the coal sample is greater than 8%, direct screening will result in a coal slime adhesion error of up to 2.3%. Recommended pretreatment process:
- Dry at 50℃ until moisture is less than 5%
- Sieve after natural cooling to room temperature
- Use air jet to assist screening
Data rounding rules
The measurement result is retained to one decimal place. When the second decimal place is:
- Discard when less than 5
- Carry when ≥5
