Scope

This part of GB/T 18707 specifies the laboratory test methods for seats for passengers and crew members on railway trains and trailer vehicles. This section involves three-axis linear vibration with a frequency of 0.5 Hz to 50 Hz. This standard specifies the input test vibration method for seat testing. This standard makes it possible to characterize how vibrations are transmitted to the occupant in the form of a frequency response function. However. This characterization is only fully valid if the person-seat system is considered sufficiently linear.
