《GB/T 18978.2-2004使用视觉显示终端（VDTs）办公的人类工效学要求 第2部分:任务要求指南》由TC7（全国人类工效学标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为国家标准化管理委员会。
GB/T18978的本部分为使用基于VDT的信息处理系统办公的用户提供了指南。该指南既与采用该系统的组织有关，也与使用设备的人员有关。本部分的目的在于，将来源于实践经验的人类工效学知识应用到任务设计中，以提高单个用户的效率和舒适性。GB/T16251规定了有关的人类工效学原则。GB/T18978的其他部分对有关视觉显示特性以及控制器、工作场所和环境的要求做了规定。本部分不涉及软件和对话设计。
Scope
This part of GB/T 18978 provides guidance for users who use VDT-based information processing systems for office work. The guidance is relevant both to the organization adopting the system and to the people using the equipment. The purpose of this section is to apply ergonomic knowledge derived from practical experience to task design to improve the efficiency and comfort of individual users. GB/T 16251 stipulates the relevant ergonomic principles. Other parts of GB/T 18978 specify the requirements for visual display characteristics, controllers, workplaces and environments. This section does not deal with software and dialog design.
