Material requirements

Pipe raw materials must comply with GB/T18993.1-2020, and it is allowed to add ≤5% recycled materials from the same factory. New Solvent-based adhesive usage specifications are added, requiring that it has no negative impact on pipeline performance.

Typical application scenarios

In a hotel hot water system renovation project, S5 dn32×en2.9 pipes were selected and operated continuously for 3 years without leakage under 80℃/0.6MPa conditions, verifying the reliability of the 95℃/165h hydrostatic test in the standard.


Technology Evolution Analysis

When this standard was revised and adopted from ISO15877-2:2009, three important adjustments were made according to the characteristics of China's building environment:

  1. Delete the PVC-CⅡ material requirements in the ISO standard to adapt to the current situation of a single material system in China
  2. Add dimensional indicators such as curvature and out-of-roundness to enhance construction adaptability
  3. Introduce the sanitary requirements of GB/T17219 to ensure the safety of drinking water

1. Selection Notes: Select the corresponding pipe series (S4-S6.3) according to the design pressure (0.4-1.0MPa) and the use temperature

2. Acceptance Points: Focus on testing the 95℃/165h hydrostatic test and the ≤0.2% light transmittance index

3. Construction Specifications: Stacking height ≤1.5m during storage, avoid direct sunlight
