本标准为在工业界应用技术状态管理及其与其他管理体系和程序的接口提供指南。本标准首先给出了管理综述（第4章），而后描述了过程、组织和详细的程序。

Scope

This International Standard provides guidance for the application of technical condition management in industry and its interface with other management systems and procedures. This standard first gives an overview of management (Chapter 4), and then describes the process, organization and detailed procedures. This International Standard applies to all activities supporting product planning, design, development, procurement, production, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. This standard details the technical status management elements in GB/T19004.1 (idtISO9004-1), and Appendix B gives this standard and GB/T19001 (idtISO9001), GB/T19002 (idtISO9002), GB/T19003 (idtISO9003) Correspondence with GB/T19004.1 (idtISO90041) standard. Depending on the scale, complexity and nature of the work, the application of technical status management can be tailored to suit specific project requirements. NOTE 1 For guidance on specific applications (eg software), see the relevant standards given in Appendix D.
