本标准规定了交换用的电子名片信息结构格式。本标准适用于互联网邮件、语音邮件、Web浏览器、电话增值应用、传呼中心、视频会议、PIM、PDA、传呼、传真、办公设备，以及智能卡等各种相关个人数据交换的应用领域。
Scope
This standard specifies the electronic business card information structure format for exchange. This standard is mainly applicable to Internet mail, voice mail, Web browser, telephone value-added applications, paging center, video conferencing, PIM (Personal Information Management), PDA (Personal Digital Agent), paging, fax, office equipment and smart cards, etc. Fields of application for the exchange of relevant personal data. Appendix A gives relevant application guidance.
