Engineering application suggestions
Selection guide
Select the S value of the pipe series according to the level of use conditions:
- S5 series is recommended for heating system (level 4)
- For high-temperature water supply (level 2), it is recommended to use the S6.3 series.
- For cold water system (level 1), the S10 series can be used.
Construction precautions
- PB-H pipes need to be aged for 120 hours in a 23°C environment before installation.
- The pipe wall thickness should be ≥1.9mm for hot-melt connection.
- The distance between pipe supports should not exceed 1.5m.
Significance of standard implementation
The new version of the standard refines the technical indicators of PB pipes, solves the problem of missing specifications in the old version in terms of barrier layer pipes and large-diameter pipes, and provides a more complete technical basis for building water supply and drainage systems, especially for floor heating systems and high-temperature hot water transportation scenarios.
