《GB/T 19559-2008煤层气含量测定方法》由TC42（全国煤炭标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为中国煤炭工业协会。
本标准代替GB/T 19559-2004《煤层气含量测定方法》。
本标准规定了煤芯样品的煤层气含量测定方法。
本标准适用于煤炭和煤层气勘探中获取的烟煤和无烟煤煤芯样品的煤层气含量测定，褐煤煤芯样品的煤层气含量测定参考执行。
本标准修订内容如下：
―――标准状态下气体体积校正的温度修定为0℃，压力101.325kPa；
―――气样采集时间，修订在解吸的第1、3、5天进行；
―――增加快速气含量测定方法。

Scope

This standard specifies the method for the determination of coalbed methane content in coal core samples. This standard applies to the determination of coalbed methane content of bituminous coal and anthracite coal core samples obtained in coal and coalbed methane exploration, and the determination of coalbed methane content of lignite coal core samples is implemented as a reference.
