本标准规定了双手操纵装置的安全要求和输出信号对输入信号的依赖性。本标准描述了双手操纵装置达到安全要求的主要特性，同时给出了三种类型功能特性的组合。本标准不适用于预计用作使动装置、止―动操作装置或专用控制装置的装置。本标准未规定双手操纵装置应与哪些机器一起使用，未规定应使用哪种类型的双手操纵装置。也未规定双手操纵装置和危险区之间的距离。本标准基于风险评价给出了双手操纵装置在设计和选择上的要求与指南，包括对其评价、失效的预防和故障排除。本标准也给出了对具有可编程电子系统的双手操纵装置的设计要求和选择指南。本标准适用于与使用能源无关的所有双手操纵装置，包括:――是或者不是机器整体部分的双手操纵装置；――由一个或多个分立件组成的双手操纵装置。

Scope

This standard specifies the safety requirements for two-hand controls and the dependence of the output signal on the input signal. This standard describes the main characteristics of the two-hand control device to meet the safety requirements, and gives the combination of three types of functional characteristics. This standard does not apply to devices intended to be used as operating devices, stop-stop operating devices or special control devices. This standard does not specify which machines two-hand controls shall be used with, which type of two-hand controls shall be used, or the distance between the two-hand controls and the danger zone (see 9.8). This standard gives requirements and guidelines for the design and selection of two-handed control devices based on risk assessment, including its evaluation, failure prevention and troubleshooting. The standard also gives design requirements and selection guidelines for two-handed controls with programmable electronic systems. This standard applies to all two-hand controls independent of the use of energy, including: - two-hand controls that are or are not an integral part of a machine; - two-hand controls that consist of one or more discrete components.
