《GB/T 20159.8-2008环境条件分类 环境条件分类与环境试验之间的关系及转换指南 导言》由TC8（全国电工电子产品环境条件与环境试验标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为中国电器工业协会。
本部分是研究GB/T 4798中给定的环境条件与GB/T 2423中规定的环境试验之间的关系及转换的技术报告，是本系列标准的导言，目的在于为规范制定者提供一套便于应用的表格，表格使这些环境条件相互关联及转换。
本部分的目的是推荐环境试验，为了证明产品有能力在承受GB/T 4798规定的气候和机械环境条件时可选择这些试验，试验的严酷程度包括推荐的试验周期不是为了证明产品的可靠性，相应的指南应
该从适用性、可靠性相关的出版物中选择。
不可能针对所有的产品、场所和应用都推荐试验严酷程度，但可以对大多数的情况推荐试验严酷程度。指南中给出了推荐试验的严酷程度是如何选择的。当GB/T 4798系列标准不足以描述某些特定的环境条件或应用时，指南中包含的原理同样可以用于修改试验严酷程度。

Scope

This part is a technical report that studies the relationship and conversion between the environmental conditions given in GB/T 4798 and the environmental tests specified in GB/T 2423. Applied tables that correlate and transform these environmental conditions. The purpose of this part is to recommend environmental tests. These tests can be selected in order to prove that the product has the ability to withstand the climatic and mechanical environmental conditions specified in GB/T 4798. The severity of the test, including the recommended test period, is not to prove the reliability of the product. Corresponding Guidelines should be selected from publications related to applicability and reliability. It is not possible to recommend test severities for all products, locations and applications, but it is possible to recommend test severities for most situations. How the severity of the recommended test was chosen is given in the guideline. When the GB/T 4798 series of standards is not sufficient to describe some specific environmental conditions or applications, the principles contained in the guidelines can also be used to modify the test severity.
