GB/T 2035-2008 in English

《GB/T 2035-2008塑料术语及其定义》由TC15（全国塑料标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为中国石油和化学工业联合会。
本标准等同采用ISO 472：1999《塑料术语及其定义》（英文版）。
本标准定义了用于塑料工业中的术语。
为便于使用，作了部分编辑性修改：
――删除了ISO 472：1999的前言；
――删除了塑料术语的英法文对照索引和英俄文对照索引；
――增加了塑料术语的中英文对照索引；
――增加了汉语拼音索引；
――将一些适用于国际标准的表述改为适用于我国标准的表述；
――删除了推荐术语英文同义字列表。
本标准代替GB/T 2035-1996《塑料术语及其定义》，与GB/T 2035-1996相比主要差异如下：
a) 修改了绝对模量、丙酮树脂等术语和定义；
b) 增加了碳纤维、碳化处理等术语和定义。

Scope

This standard defines terms used in the plastics industry. When a term has one or more synonyms, the synonymous term follows the preferred term. This in turn details synonyms in correct alphabetical order. Deprecated terms are indicated with "Deprecated". Where a definition may not be found or indicated, the term is followed by the symbol →. The abbreviation "cf." (cf.) indicates that the user can refer to other terms (not synonyms), definitions or note the information contained in the term with the following symbols.
