《GB/T 20641-2014低压成套开关设备和控制设备 空壳体的一般要求》由TC266（全国低压成套开关设备和控制设备标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为中国电器工业协会。
本标准适用于由壳体制造商提供的，在用户安装开关设备和控制设备元件之前的空壳体。
本标准规定了低压成套开关设备和控制设备所用的壳体的定义、分类、性能和试验要求。起额定电压为交流不超过1000V或直流不超过1500V，适用于户内或户外应用。

Scope

This standard applies to empty enclosures provided by the enclosure manufacturer before the user installs switchgear and controlgear components (hereinafter referred to as enclosures). This standard specifies the definition, classification, performance and test requirements for enclosures used in low-voltage switchgear and controlgear assemblies, eg in accordance with the IEC 61439 series. Its rated voltage is not more than 1000 V a.c. or 1500 V d.c. and is suitable for indoor or outdoor use. This standard does not apply to housings mentioned in other specific product standards (such as the IEC 60670 series). The complete equipment manufacturer is responsible for the safety requirements of the corresponding product standards.
