《GB/T 20641-2006低压成套开关设备和控制设备空壳体的一般要求》由TC266（全国低压成套开关设备和控制设备标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为中国电器工业协会。
本标准适用于由壳体制造商提供的空壳体，该壳体是用户在安装开关设备和控制设备元件之前的产品。本标准规定了符合GB 7251系列标准的低压成套开关和控制设备所用壳体的定义、分类、性能和试验要求。该低压成套开关和控制设备的额定电压为交流不超过1000V，频率不超过1000Hz或直流不超过1500V，适用于户内或户外。

Scope

This standard applies to the empty housing provided by the housing manufacturer (hereinafter referred to as the housing), which is the product of the user before the installation of switchgear and control gear components. This standard specifies the definition, classification, performance and test requirements for housings used in low-voltage complete switchgear and control equipment that comply with GB 7251 series standards. The rated voltage of the low-voltage switchgear and control equipment is not more than 1000V for AC, 1000Hz for frequency or 1500V for DC, suitable for indoor or outdoor use. This standard does not apply to housings mentioned in other specific product standards (such as IEC 60670). The final turnkey equipment manufacturer is responsible for the safety requirements of the corresponding product standards.
