《GB/T 20740-2006胶粘剂取样》由TC185（全国胶粘剂标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为中国石油和化学工业联合会。
本标准规定了胶粘剂及其相关产品的取样方法，该方法可以获得充分代表被取样产品性能的合适的样品的量，所得到的样品适合于测试前试样的检查和制备。

Scope

Warning--Personnel who use this standard should be familiar with normal laboratory operating procedures. This standard does not involve all possible safety issues that may arise during use. It is the user's responsibility to establish appropriate safety and health procedures and ensure compliance with applicable national or domestic regulations. This standard specifies the sampling method for adhesives and related products. This method can obtain a suitable sample quantity that fully represents the performance of the sampled product. The obtained sample is suitable for the inspection and preparation of the sample before the test. The method is also applicable to adhesive products that need to be mixed with a curing agent or a catalyst during application. However, this method is not suitable for sampling adhesives that flow like sand (in which case sampling should be done in accordance with ISO 8213). This standard also does not apply to the sampling of animal glue.
