Introduction
1. Background and significance of standard formulation
GB/T20930-2015 "Lithium Ribbon" national standard is revised on the basis of the original standard GB/T20930-2007, mainly updating the chemical composition, dimensional deviation and appearance quality of lithium ribbons. The formulation of this standard is of great significance to standardize the production of lithium ribbons and ensure product quality, especially in the context of the rapid development of the new energy battery industry, the demand for high-quality lithium ribbons is growing.

3. Interpretation of standard technical requirements
3.1 Chemical composition and grade classification
Lithium ribbons are divided into four grades, Li-1 to Li-4, according to their chemical composition. The specific chemical composition is shown in Table 1. New requirements for Pb content are added, and the special requirements of the purchaser can be negotiated and determined.
3.2 Dimensions and allowable deviations
The dimensions and allowable deviations of lithium ribbons shall be implemented in accordance with Table 2, and the thickness and width deviations shall be strictly controlled within ±0.4mm. According to the requirements of the purchaser, unidirectional deviation products can be supplied.
3.3 Appearance quality standards
The surface of lithium ribbons should be straight and bright, without defects such as oxides or nitrides, and the edges should be neat and without cracks. Each reel of lithium ribbon must be continuous without stratification or inclusions.
4. Implementation suggestions and precautions
- Strictly comply with the chemical composition, dimensional deviation and appearance quality requirements specified in the standard.
- During the packaging process, ensure that dry argon is used for packaging to prevent oxidation or moisture of the lithium ribbon.
- Pay attention to fire and moisture prevention during transportation, and prohibit inversion and violent collision.
- Store in a clean and dry environment, with a shelf life of 6 months.
