本标准规定了膨润土的术语和定义、分类、标记、要求、试验方法、检验规则和标志、包装、运输和贮存。本标准适用于铸造、冶金球团和钻井泥浆用膨润土。
本标准不适用于经无机酸或有机物处理而使膨润土的结构和组分已发生本质改变的加工制成品。

Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification, labeling, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation and storage of bentonite. This standard applies to foundry, metallurgical pellets and bentonite for drilling mud. This standard does not apply to processed products whose structure and components of bentonite have been substantially changed by the treatment of inorganic acids or organic substances.
