Scope

This standard specifies the terms and definitions, classification and marking, requirements, test methods, inspection rules and signs, packaging, transportation and storage of rigid phenolic foam products for thermal insulation. This standard applies to rigid phenolic foam products (hereinafter referred to as products) used for thermal insulation of buildings, equipment and pipelines. Please refer to Appendix A for precautions when using products.
