《GB/T 21076-2007证券及相关金融工具 国际证券识别编码体系》由TC180（全国金融标准化技术委员会）归口，主管部门为中国人民银行。
本标准修改采用ISO 6166：2001《证券及相关金融工具 国际证券识别编码体系》，本标准规定了中国境内注册发行的证券及相关金融工具的国际识别码，规定了中国ISIN码的编码规则、编码分配、编码注册机构、信息及查询等内容，为国际证券识别编码提供了统一结构。

Scope

The content of this standard provides a uniform structure for ISINs. It applies to the trading and management of all securities and related financial instruments. This standard stipulates the International Identification Number (ISIN) of securities and related financial instruments registered and issued in China, and specifies the coding rules, code allocation, coding registration institutions, information and inquiries of Chinese ISIN codes. This standard applies to securities and related financial instruments whose issuers are registered in China and listed and traded on the Chinese securities market, futures market, inter-bank market, over-the-counter market and overseas capital markets; applicable to issuers whose registration is in China , and securities and related financial instruments that have been assigned ISIN identification codes before the implementation of this standard. This standard does not apply to securities and related financial instruments whose issuers are registered outside of China and listed and traded in securities markets, futures markets, inter-bank markets, and OTC markets within China.
